Founded in 1948 by a local retailer, the Rye & District Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to representing the collective voice of local businesses through membership ever since.

Since 2022 a dynamic female-led team have been driving the Chamber forward, supporting a growing network of local businesses from Rye and its surrounding areas. The Chamber relys on voluntary involvement from its members.

Our mission? To champion the interests of the business community. Together, we’re stronger, with many voices working toward a shared goal.
Our Members
The Chamber seeks to protect the town's economic integrity and prosperity via membership involvement. The membership includes businesses of all types and sizes from independent shops and architects to solicitors and hospitality.
